The market seems to be flooded these days with different supplements suggesting that they do one thing or another, however, what many people do not realize is that most supplements you see today come from a chemical lab derived from questionable sources. We live in such an exciting time today where consumers are really shifting their focus to make health-conscious decisions. Plants are all-natural coming from the earth and are great to rely on for your health! Plant based supplements are a favorite among many because they tend to always be vegan. Many supplement companies will use some type of animal byproduct or gelatin capsule to hold in the nutrients, but plant based vitamins stick to all natural ingredients making them not only a great addition to your diet, but also better for the environment!

Have you ever taken a vitamin and cringed due to the smell or sometimes even the taste? Plant based vitamins are ideal because they do not have any toxic chemicals, synthetic fillers, artificial sweeteners or preservatives. Many vitamins that you see today contain fillers and dye to make them appealing to the eye. Plant based vitamins are completely natural boasting with only the purest ingredients from plants. 

Lower Toxicity Risk

Vitamins are good for you, but too much of anything is not always a good thing. Plant based vitamins and synthetic vitamins both have a toxicity risk when consumed in large amounts, however, the risk is much lower coming from plants. For an example, the risk of toxicity from a synthetic iron supplement is greater than if it were to come from a natural plant supplement. 

 There are a ton of options on the market today when it comes to supplements. If you are looking for a for something with better bioavailability, vegan and natural with a low toxicity risk, then plant based vitamins are right for you!
