Coronavirus concerns cancels CBS News moderator visit

A visit from a senior foreign affairs correspondent and moderator of “Face the Nation” on CBS was cancelled due to concerns of coronavirus (COVID-19).

According to a press release from Fresno State, the President’s Lecture Series featuring Margaret Brennan scheduled for March 17 at the Save Mart Center has been canceled. 

The release said that the decision was made following the evolving guidance from the CSU Chancellor’s Office as well as state and local public health agencies regarding the current COVID-19 situation. 

The university is evaluating upcoming events and meetings to determine if any need to be cancelled or postponed.
