‘Dogs add Michigan, USC to nonconference schedule

Starting in 2024, the Fresno State football program revealed it has added future games to its nonconference schedule.

The Bulldogs added road games with Big Ten and Pac-12 opponents – Michigan in 2024 and USC in 2028.

Fresno State announced it also added home and away games against a Sun Belt Conference opponent in Georgia Southern. The Bulldogs will face them at home in 2025 and will travel to Statesboro, Ga, in 2028.

These new additions represent the first meetings between Michigan and Georgia Southern for Fresno State.

As for USC, the Bulldogs last met them in 2019 and suffered an opening loss, 31-23. The Trojans lead 4-1 in matchups against Fresno State.

Looking to next season, Fresno State will open the season against the Idaho State Bengals at Bulldog Stadium. It will then play away games at Colorado and Texas A&M before coming home to face New Mexico State.
