Sept. 11, 1911. Ring any bells? Well, it should. This is the day that the 32 members of the first graduating class walked the halls of what is now know as Fresno High School. This is the day that laid the foundation for the 21,500 students enrolled today. And it will be the day that that California State University, Fresno turns 100-years-old.
In honor of the celebration and the opening of the centennial exhibition in the Henry Madden Library, The Collegian set out on foot to hear how much students, faculty and staff actually know about Fresno States history.
