DREAM Act rally update

At 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Peace Garden demonstrators alongside Associated Students, Inc. President Pedro Ramirez will rally in support of the federal DREAM (Development, Relief and Education for Alien Minors) Act. The DREAM Act, if passed, would allow illegal immigrants to become legal United States residents after spending two years in college or the military.

Tuition fees to increase

The CSU Committee on Finance and the Board of Trustees will be meeting on Tuesday and Wednesday to approve tuition increases for the next two semesters; 5 percent for spring 2011 and another 10 percent by fall 2011.
