When it comes to making Fresno State a cleaner campus, it appears that other schools, not only in the San Joaquin Valley, but scattered throughout California are ahead of the curve. New fountains in USU

To encourage students to recycle, the University Student Union board of directors has installed two state of the art drinking fountains in the USU. The new fountains offer filtered water and a special bottle refilling station that tracks the amount of water bottles saved by using it.

E-waste drop-off Oct. 18

California State University, Fresno’s Community Universal Waste Collection Program (formerly called e-waste collection) will accept unwanted electronic waste and large household items from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18, in Parking Lot C, located at Maple and Shaw Avenues.
