Arcellie Santos (pictured) said that she uses the school arcade often to play her favorite games, which include Dance Dance Revolution Extreme and Puzzle Fighter II Turbo.  The USU arcade has seen a decrease in use as students are opting to play computer games instead.
The bright lights, loud buzzes and the clank of quarters being inserted into an arcade game is not something Fresno State students are into anymore –– or at least, that’s how it appears. (more...)

Where can I get a bite to eat?

From tacos and coffee, to spaghetti and buffalo wings, there are numerous menu items and multiple outlets to eat at, both on and off campus. It all depends on what a student is in the mood for. On campus, there are a number of places that students can go to satisfy those inevitable hunger pangs. The University Student Union (USU) is probably the most known and visited location. The USU food court offers students the choice of eating at Subway, Panda Express or the newly added Chick-fil-A. (more...)

It’s not that often that a film director and producer comes to Fresno State, but thanks to Cineculture Club, that’s now a possibility three times a month. Their most recent film, “Blossoms of Fire,” about a matriarchal society in the Oaxaca, Mexico that covered the relationship between males and females as well as the issue of homosexuality, sparked not only interest but also discussion – the goal of Cineculture Club.
