I AWOKE AT 6 A.M. AND WASHED MY FACE.

My clothes were already picked out for me and lying on my bed. I brushed my teeth and my mom braided my hair into two pigtails, as I ate breakfast.

Children dragged their parents around the Boomtown Carnival with the smell of kettle corn and barbeque in the distance.

Interactive inflatable attractions lead children to crowd around to see who would get knocked off the inflatable apparatus first.

Mechanical engineering tests out projects

Mousetraps, plastic cups, duck tape, marbles, wheels, books and dominos. These were the objects Fresno State’s mechanical engineering 143 class used to build their own Rube Goldberg machines Thursday evening.
A Rube Goldberg machine is an over engineered apparatus that is built to perform a simple task in a very eccentric fashion.

Fresno State women’s tennis will face the No. 2 ranked UCLA Bruins Friday in Los Angeles at 1:30 p.m.
