Fresno State to pay legal fees

Fresno State is going to have to pay an additional $2.5 million in the Stacy Johnson-Klein case, a judge ruled Monday.
The money pays for Johnson-Klein’s attorney fees, and comes on top of the $6.6 million awarded to Johnson-Klein in February. The attorneys had requested $2.9 million, but the judge reduced that amount.

Appeal filed in Johnson-Klein case

The Stacy Johnson-Klein case is unlikely to be resolved through a settlement any time soon, according to Warren Paboojian, Johnson-Klein’s lawyer.
Fresno State filed an additional appeal last Wednesday, asking that the $6.6 million award be reduced to $2.9 million. Fresno State also asked for a new trial.
