Family Fun at Chukchansi Sports Zone

The new place to go for sports and family fun is the Chukchansi Sports Zone at The Big Fresno Fair.

One of the fair’s new attractions, the Sports Zone, has fun activities for almost everyone in the family. It consists of a Chukchansi Casino booth, ESPN radio, TVs, a bull riding machine and baseball and football throwing.

 
 

‘Polish Joke’ opens season



University Theatre’s first play of the year is a cultural comedy that has been compared to the movie “My Big Fat Greek Wedding”.

Directed by Edward EmanuEl, Ph.D., and written by David Ives, the play revolves around Jasiu Sadlowski, played by Adam Schroeder.

 
 

Egypt study among new Middle East programs offered

Fresno State will soon be expanding its foreign-based academic curriculum in the near future with the Middle East Studies (MES) Project.

A proposal will be presented at the beginning of next year, said Jóse Díaz, the assoicate dean of the College of Arts and Humanities.

 
 

More e-mail space draws praise, indifference

Gmail, AOL, Yahoo! and Hotmail are some of the e-mail services many Fresno State students use, setting aside their school-assigned e-mail address.

Don’t rule out that csufresno.edu account just yet.
