Looking for something fun to do with your friends this summer without breaking anyone’s wallet? Just by being students at Fresno State, you don’t have to look any further than the University Student Union.

This semester had been going pretty well. I like my classes and I have a good job situation that pertains to my crazy schedule.

Everything would be golden in my life if it weren’t for one thing: the insufferable new roundabouts on campus.

Friday night was the first showing of the Portable Dance Troupe (PDT) performance of Dances on the Edge, a presentation reflecting the current social and political situation in our country.

A new club on campus has put its efforts together to bring environmental awareness to Fresno. The slogan of the Student Environmental Awareness Club (SEAC) is simple – “Think Global! Act Local!”

A $4.5 million research grant was given to Fresno State by the National Center on Minority Health and Health Disparities, part of the National Institute of Health, to build a state-of-the-art laboratory for biomedical research over the next five years.

The volunteering spirit of Fresno State students showed through at the Services to the Community Expo on Wednesday. The fifth annual event provided the opportunity to gain information on non-profit organizations, community service-learning and career opportunities.
