Televisions all over the Fresno State campus were tuned in for Election Day coverage Tuesday. Students walked around wearing presidential candidate T-shirts. Some had buttons on their backpacks for different propositions they were for or against. Others simply wore “I voted” stickers.

With the November election quickly approaching, Fresno State student voters will face a nearly $10 billion question on the ballot: Are they willing to spend their tax dollars on Proposition 1A’s high-speed rail bonds?

After starting the season with six consecutive losses, the Fresno State women’s basketball team finally made it into the win column on Saturday.

The Bulldogs are currently 5-3 on the season after squeaking by Division-II bottom feeder Cal-State Monterey Bay 85-80 in overtime.

Six games into the season and the Fresno State women’s basketball team is still looking for its first win of the season.

As the game goes on, players on the other team should be gasping for air.

When entering the University Student Union, you can start to hear the loud crashing of bowling pins.
