On any given afternoon, the Student Rec Center is filled with people of both sexes getting down with their sweaty selves. Yet the areas are as clearly divided by sex as if they were separated by walls.

 
 

Classes canceled due to power outage

A power outage at Fresno State has left the following buildings without power today and tonight: Kremen Education Building, Smittcamp Alumni House, Satellite Student Union and Henry Madden Library. These buildings are closed until power is restored.

UHS teacher dismissed

Jonathan McCoy Malcolm, a music instructor at University High School on the Fresno State campus, was dismissed this evening. Malcolm was arrested Wednesday and charged with distributing or displaying lewd material to a minor and annoying or molesting children under 18.
