A National Championship sign was unveiled. A College World Series (CWS) 
flag was raised. New signs appeared under the press box. Six 2008 CWS heroes threw out ceremonial first pitches, and for the first time in 15 years, a maximum capacity crowd of 3,825 fans came out to support the Fresno State baseball team in its season opener.

George leads ’Dogs in win

It has been a tough month to say the least for the men’s basketball team, but Monday night the Bulldogs gave the fans at the Save Mart Center something to cheer about. They snapped a three-game conference losing streak with a win over Boise State, 88-82, to
improve their record to 10-14, 2-7 in the WAC. (more...)
There are several sports at Fresno State dealing with coaches 
leaving, and the women’s soccer team is one program that falls under 
that category. However, one thing other sports programs can’t relate
