The upcoming statewide elections are scheduled for Nov. 4, 2008. The ballot will include presidential candidates, U.S. house of representatives, state senate, state assembly and local mayoral candidates.
The deadline to register to vote for the elections is Oct. 20, 2008.

New federal requirements prompt change in football shuttle bus routes
The bus shuttle routes for the 2008 football season have been changed due to a change in the Federal Transportation Administration guidelines. In consultation with Fresno city traffic engineers, University Police Department and FAX representatives, a new bus shuttle route has been established to accommodate the large crowds and heavy traffic anticipated this season.
