Campus Pointe moves forward
Campus Pointe, the multi-use retail development planned for just east of campus, can go forward. The city of Fresno reached a settlement with Fresno State Tuesday, ending a long-standing legal battle.

Observant students may have noticed “men in black” and “women in black” walking about campus yesterday, and it wasn’t because of the cooler weather.
Walled exterior to put new face on library this week
The Henry Madden Library will be closed Tuesday until 3 p.m. during the initial installation of the outer walls of the new building on the east side, close to the current library entrance.
In addition, the popular walkway between the library and the University Center will also be closed but for a longer period. During the installation process, this walkway will be inaccessible from today through Friday, Sept. 21.

Grace period for adding, dropping classes nearly up
September 10 is approaching fast.
That’s the last day students can add or drop a class “without special privilege,” university Registrar Tina Beddall said.
