Men's golf finishes WAC tourney in second

The Fresno State men’s golf team finished the 2006 Western Athletic Conference season with a second-place performance in the WAC Tournament.
The Bulldogs, who shot an overall 866, maintained their second place status in each of the three days, finishing behind only New Mexico State. The Aggies won the tournament with a score of 861.
Two Bulldogs tied for third place overall in the individual standings with a three-round score of 215. Fresno State’s Jason Anthony shot a final-round 69, helping him to a tie with fellow teammate Brian Kelley, who shot a final-round 72.
The Bulldogs are now awaiting word on whether or not they will qualify for the NCAA West Regionals.
