Women’s Golf


The Fresno State women’s golf team will begin its run at the Western Athletic Conference Tournament Championship when it begins play today in San Jose.


The tournament, held at Coyote Creek Golf Club in San Jose, will wrap-up Wednesday.


For the Bulldogs, sophomore Laura Luethke leads the team with a 74.96 scoring average.


Freshman Jennifer Shipley is almost expected to participate after being doubtful with an injured back.
