Rain stalls play between Bulldogs and Broncos

The match-up between Fresno State and Boise State was supposed to be
an as-good-as-it-gets contest, but is being delayed after rain began
to fall Sunday afternoon.
Play had been underway before the rain began to fall, with Fresno State
earning the doubles point between the two teams.
The Bulldogs entered with a record of 11-5, while the Broncos came
into the day with a 14-4 mark.
Fresno State is undefeated at home this season, with only Pacific remaining
on the home schedule.
The match against the Tigers is scheduled for Friday and will be Senior
Day for three Bulldogs.
Sam Gibbs, Ben Lichtenberger and Sergiu Modoc will all participate
in their final home match.
A make-up date for the Bulldogs-Broncos match is yet to be determined.
The Broncos figured to be the team to beat in the Western Athletic
Conference.
