The Fresno State men’s baseball team will make its first appearance on national TV in more than a decade on April 8, directly on the heels of the team’s 15-game winning streak.
College Sports Television has announced it will broadcast Fresno State’s game against the Hawaii Rainbows.
The television appearance will mark the ninth time the baseball team has been on national TV, with the last time being in 1991 at the College World Series.
The Bulldogs (22-8) have also had two previous games in the late 1980s shown on ESPN.
CSTV can be found on DirecTV channel 610 and on Comcast Digital Cable channel 418.
This weekend, the Bulldogs will hit the road as they continue Western Athletic Conference play against New Mexico State.
The Bulldogs will then return home to Beiden Field to host visiting Hawaii, which includes the nationally televised game. New Mexico State (10-12) is winless in conference play after being swept by Nevada last weekend.
