The Fresno State women's basketball team pulled out a victory over Hawaii Thursday night, maintaining a tie for first place with Louisiana Tech.
The 69–62 victory over the Rainbow Wahine (12–8, 4–6) means the Bulldogs (17–5, 9–1) will now travel to San Jose State on a three-game winning streak.
The Spartans are up next for Fresno State and are in third place in the Western Athletic Conference.
The Bulldogs took a two-point lead into halftime with a rare scoring burst from Jasmine Plummer. Plummer went 3-for-3 in the first half alone, when in a typical game, one shot would be considered a lot.
Following Saturday's match-up of second and third place teams, the Bulldogs will head to Nevada before returning home for a brief one game stand.
