Despite Hawaii’s
daunting 101-game conference winning streak, the Bulldogs hung with
the 10th ranked Rainbow Wahines but lost in a three-game sweep 30-24,
30-17, 30-24. Fresno State stayed in it defensively but Hawaii’s
hitting and blocking the decided the match. At right, a Hawaii
kill lands between Alisha McKee and libero Cheryl Selenak. McKee
led the offense with 14 kills and Selenak led the defense with 12
digs. |
