The Downtown Association of
Fresno is hosting its 17th and final “Fulton Plaza Thursdays”
street party in the Downtown Historic Fulton Mall.
Starting at 5 p.m., the streets of downtown Fresno will come alive with
arts and crafts, music, food, beer, flowers, gifts, children’s activities
and dancing. In a collective effort to revive the nightlife of downtown,
thousands of people will fill the streets to celebrate the Historic Fulton
Mall.
Bands such as MoFo Party Band, 40 Watt Hype, Los Hooligans and Patrick
Contreras will lead the entertainment as any and everybody is invited
to parade the streets and have fun said Fulton Plaza Thursdays Coordinator
Ruth Saludes.
“It’s kind of like a street party to revive the downtown area,”
Saludes said. “We get a lot of fun and creative people at these
events including groups of Fresno State students. We’re encouraging
everyone to come.”
