Tales of 700-year-old mummies and an ancient Peruvian civilization will be unearthed at a 2003 Archaeological Institute of America lecture Monday.

Dr Keith Muscutt, an assistant dean at the University of California at Santa Cruz, will give a speech titled “Warriors of the Clouds: Cliff Mummies of the Chachapoyas, Peru” at 7 p.m. in USU 200.

This talk is co-sponsored by the Fresno County Archaeological Society/San Joaquin Valley Chapter, Archaeological Institute of America, the Department of Geography and the College of Social Sciences at Fresno State.
