Commencement set for may 17The 92nd Commencement at Fresno State will be held May 17, one week earlier than in previous years. The university issued its Commencement Week schedule that begins with the Fresno State/COS Center celebration in Visalia on May 10 and ends with the Nursing Pinning Ceremony on May 17 in Fresno. The General Commencement begins at 8:30 a.m. in Bulldog Stadium and runs about two hours. Two of the larger celebrations are the Graduate Degree Hooding Ceremony, which will be Friday, May 16 in the Amphitheatre at 6 p.m. and the Latino Commencement Celebration in Bulldog Stadium on Saturday, May 17 at 5:45 p.m. Students can purchase their cap and gowns at the Kennel Bookstore up until May 16.
