Online Advertising Policies and Deadlines
Online advertising policies are subject to the same policies as print advertising. This also applies to deadlines, payment, billing, design services and late charges. Links directed to other sites are also subject to The Collegian policies and guidelines with respect to content, and The Collegian reserves the right to refuse the link originating from the advertisement.

The Collegian Online is updated every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The Internet ad space reservation deadline is one week in advance at 3 p.m. Artwork deadline is the same. The Collegian offers design services for online and print ads. Please contact (559) 278-5735 for more details. If artwork is not received by the deadline, the advertisement may not run. Additionally, The Collegian does not guarantee that .swf (Shockwave Flash) files will display or work correctly on all Web browsers.

Ad Placement
Advertising space is available on The Collegian Online home page at the top (banner ad) and in the navigation bars located on the left and right of the page (skyscraper and button ads).

Advertising Rates and Contracts
Cost to run an online ad is based on duration, as follows: weekly increments, updated every Sunday evening, or monthly increments with discounts (see below). Placement may be subject to availability.

BANNER AD (468 x 60 pixels)
National, out of area - $300 (monthly), $100 (weekly)
Local, regional in area - $200 (monthly), $90 (weekly)
Faculty / Staff / Students - $160 (monthly), $80 (weekly)

SKYSCRAPER AD (120 x 600 pixels)
National, out of area - $300 (monthly), $150 (weekly)
Local, regional in area - $250 (monthly), $125 (weekly)
Faculty / Staff / Students - $225 (monthly), $100 (weekly)

BUTTON AD (120 x 100 pixels)
National, out of area - $200 (monthly), $75 (weekly)
Local, regional in area - $150 (monthly), $50 (weekly)
Faculty / Staff / Students - $100 (monthly), $25 (weekly)

Art Specifications
• If ads contain animation, please submit them in gif or jpg formats (limit 25 KB).
• Please provide instructions regarding the code for linking through the ad. The Collegian reserves the right to adjust the size of an ad if it does not match the width and height requirements.
