Coach Pat Hill fired

After 15 years, the Pat Hill era has ended. Director of Athletics Thomas Boeh announced Sunday that Pat Hill will not be retained as head coach. The decision came after Fresno State finished the season with a 4-9 record, its worst since 2006. The ‘Dogs lost to San Diego State 35-28 to end a disappointing season after last season’s 8-5 year. The search for a new head coach will take place immediately with National Signing Day coming in February.
