World AIDS Day at Fresno’s Tower Theatre [gallery]

Nearly 200 people gathered at Fresno’s Tower Theatre on Thursday, Dec. 1 to celebrate World AIDS Day. The event is celebrated globally every year and asks people to unite in the fight against HIV and show support for those living with HIV and AIDS. The event featured information about the history of HIV and AIDS as well as a variety of performances from local artists. The event was concluded with a candlelight vigil honoring people who have passed away from AIDS.
