Boise State: Halftime Recap
Fresno State welcomed No. 5 Boise State to Bulldog Stadium in front of a national television audience.
On Boise State’s first possession, senior quarterback Kellen Moore led the Broncos down the field for a the first touchdown of the game with his four-yard touchdown strike to freshman wide receiver Matt Miller, to give the Broncos the 7-0 lead.
With a short field, Moore drove the Broncos down the field for the field goal to give Boise State the 10-0 lead.
Senior Devon Wylie coughs up the ball on a sweep off right tackle to give the Broncos the ball back. On the next play, junior wide receiver Mitch Burroughs get the ball on a reverse and took it to the house to give Boise State the 16-0 lead. The Broncos missed the extra point to keep the score 16-0.
Moore led another stampede down the field as he hit sophomore wide receiver Geraldo Boldewijn for the 18-yard back shoulder touchdown pass for his second touchdown pass of the game. The score gave the Broncos the 23-0 lead.
With six minutes left in the first half, Moore orchestrated another Broncos’ drive ending the drive with a D.J. Harper six-yard touchdown run to give Boise State the 30-0 lead.
The score at halftime is Boise State leads 37-0.
