Among Us: Amanda Valdez [video]
This is the first profile in a series called “Among Us” by Collegian videographer Ezra Romero.
Amanda Valdez, 21, is a DJ at KFSR 90.7 at Fresno State, a Theatre Arts major and the female vocalist for the band Fierce Creatures. Valdez is a senior at Fresno State and is learning how to balance her life at school with her growing singing career.

This is a great series, and I hope you guys keep it up. I’d love to see short video bios like this on people who are doing cool stuff around campus. There’s a lot going on that we don’t hear about; I know from my own niche that people are always trying to find ways to engage themselves, and its cool to see people I likely would never have met, being in a totally different field, talk about something they’re passionate about.
Also, the video editing was great. I would’ve liked more video clips than stills, but it was really well done.
