Thomas Injures Leg

By | September 01, 2011 | Sports (4)

KSEE 24 is reporting that junior safety Phillip Thomas broke his leg at practice Wednesday, Aug. 31 in a non-contact drill and is likely out for 8-12 weeks. Thomas was the only returning starter at safety, so now with this big blow to the secondary, Fresno State will likely replace Thomas with walk on Cris Wilson. This news comes just days before the season opener against California on Saturday.
