Toys for Tots donation shortage
This Saturday, Dec. 18, 2010, the Bulldog Pantry will host its annual holiday party for children and families in our community. Each year, the pantry provides toys to children attending the party through the Toys for Tots program.
Due to a shortfall in donations to Toys for Tots, the pantry only received 100 toys this year. The Bulldog Pantry is expecting 300 children.
You can help by donating a new, unopened toy for a child (Kindergarten – 6th grade) to the Bulldog Pantry and help brighten the day for a child in our community.
Donations will be accepted at the Bulldog Pantry on Thursday, Dec. 16, 2010, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. or Friday, Dec. 17, 2010, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
You may also drop off your donation at the The Richter Center on-campus (Thomas Administration, Room 107) between 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Wednesday through Friday.
