WAC, Fresno State and Nevada issue statement
Fresno State and Nevada announced on Aug. 18, 2010, of its plan to leave the WAC for the Mountain West Conference as soon as the 2011-12 season.
On Friday, Sept. 17, the three parties involved responded to the lawsuit.
WAC, Fresno State and Nevada issued the following statement:
“The parties have initiated communication. We are hopeful that there will be a collegial resolution. We will refrain from commenting about any negotiations while we work through the issues”
