UPDATE: Crime alert: murder near campus
UPDATE: The suspect for the crime alert below has been arrested and is in custody.
Fresno Police Department confirmed the shooting and death of one victim near campus early Saturday morning. Shots were fired around 3:30 a.m. on January 23rd in the area of Fourth St. and San Ramon Avenue.
The suspect, Alejandro Castro, is believed to be armed and dangerous. The suspect is a recent Fresno State graduate and may visit the campus.
