Horrible three game stretch against Utah State, Nevada, and La. Tech. We shouldn’t be involved in these one and two point victories against such competition. Yes, yes, no Mathews for this past game. Still, the Bulldogs really need to show us something during the Illinois game on Dec. 5. They tend to get up for games against the name-brand schools, so they better pull this next one out. As for the bowl in late December, Kansas/UCLA/Texas AM/Iowa State/Notre Dame/SMU/Wyoming—–they all seem like attractive options——too bad the fan base can’t get something closer to home—-ie. San Diego, Vegas, or San Francisco.
