I am for it. I feel much safer knowing that the person who is handling my food isn't on drugs or alcohol.

While I don't have a problem with the idea of testing, I am troubled and angry, as an employee of the Association, that I have to read about this plan in the Collegian. There has been no mention, let alone a proposal, made to employees. How will the program work? What are the rights of the people involved to privacy, dispute findings etc...? If a retest is called for, who pays?

It seems that the people most affected by this policy change should be consulted and made a part of crafting a workable plan that achieves the goal of increased safety for all and protecting individual rights. Obviously that would require a change in the culture of the leadership at the Association where the belief that they rule, not lead, prevails and their actions are not to be questioned or examined in the light of day. What an insult to the people that actually do the work in the Association.
