Today's kids live in a lavish environment. But it is not entirely their fault. Take China for example, they have implemented "1 kid only" policy over the past years. That led to families having fewer children.

As a result, parents dote on them, possibly pampering them with material goods. I would feel parents should take a more responsible role in teaching the children today what's poverty is like and not to take things for granted.

People don't talk to each other anymore. I've heard of relationships being COMPLETELY over text. Meet, talk, get to know, ask out, and break up. All without ever meeting the person. I feel like throwing all the heavy text messenegers phones away and see what they do! I bet they'd go crazy! *gasp* "I actually have to TALK to people face to face? Like, OMG!"
