Fans obviously want to show off the "V" by purchasing merchandise and promoting Fresno State. But the university doesn't want to make money off of this? Why would the school be so protective of this copyright? It is ridiculous that they will not allow Fresno State fans to show off the valley pride symbol. Can you imagine any other NCAA school denying its fans the right to purchase merchandise that shows off their pride and school/regional spirit? This makes no sense at all. It doesn't make financial sense, and it defies logic. Fresno State really missed the mark on this one! I’ve never heard anything so stupid in my life.
