Halftime Update

Brianna Campbell / The Collegian

So far it’s smooth sailing for the Fresno State Bulldogs in their home opener against the UC Davis Aggies.

The ‘Dogs are up 35-0 after one half of play at Bulldog Stadium.

Ryan Colburn didn’t have to throw a pass in his first offensive drive as a Bulldog but capped off the Bulldogs’ 68-yard opening march with a one-yard touchdown plunge to put Fresno State up 7-0.

However, Colburn did air it out in the second quarter, connecting with senior wide receiver Marlon Moore on a 92-yard strike to extend the lead to 28-0.

Ryan Mathews and Ebahn Feathers each rushed for touchdowns and Nico Herron added a score with a 94-yard interception return.

Mathews has 106 total yards rushing and Colburn has passed for 131 yards.
