Couples lined the front of the Kennel Bookstore Wednesday in hopes of kissing their way to winning a free iPod.
Marizol Cortez, 23, a senior nursing major and Andrea Vega, 21, a junior nursing major, won the event, beating out 19 other couples. “We practiced beforehand using a dictionary,” Cortez said. “During the competition we kept talking to each other to keep the iPod up so it wouldn’t slip.”
Kiss an iPod, sponsored by USU Productions, Kennel Bookstore and Apple Productions, was originally scheduled for Feb. 13, but was cancelled due to rain.
