It is not that students are unaware, as I recall we had an election last year on IRA fee increases and students turned out to vote. The majority voted NO (even if it was a small number of students it is still the majority) and yet the fee increase was still passed. So it's not that the students are unaware, but even if our voice is given it is not heard.
