Since I was a Freshman Running Back at the time I had the misfortune of competing against Dan on a daily basis who happened to be our starting Middle Linebacker during that 1980 Season. Despite being a scout team running back at the time Dan treated me with consistent respect and professionalism that I remember to this day. Years later while attending one of the Bulldog Spring Games...I believe it was 1998 I had the opportunity to talk briefly with Dan and after all of that time his treatment towards me was still the same and I admired and thanked him for that. Simply put as many former and current Bulldogs know Dan was a Class Act. Thank you for the opportunity to share my memory of Dan.
