We have to avoid ANYTHING with gluten, period. So that includes wheat, rye, barley and often contaminated oats (oats don't naturally include gluten). Anything with gluten is toxic. For us with celiac it is NOT the current trend of avoiding gluten. It is not a fad. Elisabeth, like the rest of us with celiac disease, don’t just avoid wheat.
