Frankly, I’m very happy. I use Madden extensively for story research (and have for many years). When I toured the new building last summer, I was impressed with it–the capabilities of the new building are limitless compared to the old one, where turning on one computer too many would shut the power down to half the building. Of course, I’m disappointed the fiscal meltdown has delayed the finishing touches!

I’m simply just looking forward to it actually opening. I’ve been here for 3 years and have never had a library; it’s a little disheartening. But once it does open, I think it will be a great new addition for Fresno State and its students.
I think that the remodeling of the library was necessary. I like how it’s looking now, because it used to look ugly.
