Music of ’08

What a year, huh? Now that the semester and year are coming to an end, here’s a look back at the top movies and music of 2008.

There were songs that were so popular, that they made us sick of hearing it. FloRida maybe? But he was named on the list of the 100 top songs of ’08.

Some movies have been forgotten because they came out so long ago, but some were so popular people are still talking about it.

Superhero movies, buddy comedies and children’s cartoons were at the top of the box office lists.

We saw Iron Man, James Bond and the return of Indiana Jones.

But Heath Ledger’s early demise before the release of the newest Batman movie, The Dark Knight, generated the most anticipation.

The Joker’s pencil trick combined with the film’s success at the box office make The Dark Knight the number one movie for 2008.

Since the public has moved away from buying albums in stores and has shifted to buying more music through iTunes, here are the most popular songs for 2008, according to iTunes.
