The prophecies are real, and true, hence...the name prophecy. God knows the beginning and ending of all things on this earth. He knew that what John wrote in the book of Revelation would be received just like it is..on doubting ears and blind eyes. You have a vision brother and are awake to the true sitation of this earth. The Great River Euphrates drying up is a paramount event in the prophectic timeline of John's Revelation. In my youth, I listened to the same teachings, only willingly with a thirst for more informatin and understanding of what prohecy means and what the end times would be like. The fact that we can even build the scale and number of dams it takes to dry up a river as large as the Euphrates must have been inconceivable in the time of the prophets. In the years since the original writing, humans have dominated and changed the Earth in ways that no one had ever imagined, and never, to anyone's knowledge, have these things occurred to the extent that they are now. Yeah, but consider how our advances have turned made much of nature just putty in our hands. It's easier to find coincidences today, with so much information available. Just open up a book about astronomy and see how insignificant the Earth is in the universe. That always makes me feel better about small problems.
