Campus donation drive for fire victims
The Parents Association, Student Recreation Center and University Student Union have joined together to host a donation drive for the recent victims of an apartment fire.
Students Molly Kaiser, Lindsey Thomas and Tess Warwick lost nearly all of their personal belongings in a fire Tuesday night at Bulldog Village, west of campus on Cedar Avenue.
We encourage you to participate in supporting these students by donating items listed below to the fire victims.
- Kitchen: Pots, pans, silverware, dishes, bowls, cups, mugs, towels, toaster, etc.
- Bathroom: Bath towels, hand towels, wash rags, floor mats, toilet paper, etc.
- Cleaning Supplies: Dish soap, hand soap, trash cans, broom/dust pan, etc.
- Toiletries: Make up, shower supplies, razors, etc.
- Clothing: Women’s shirts size medium; pants sizes 5/6 long, 7-9 and 12
- Shoes: Women’s size 10
- Non-perishable food items
- School supplies: Papers, pencils, pens, notepads, folders, etc.
Donations will be accepted at the following locations:
- University Student Union, Room 306
- Student Recreation Center
- Joyal Administration Building, Room 274
Please make all donations by 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 24th
