Men’s golf finishes sixth

The Bulldogs finished sixth overall after two days of play at the Nevada Wolf Pack Classic.

Conference rival New Mexico State took first place.

Junior Grant Doverspike took 12th place individually, shooting an even par in the third round.

Sophomore Michael Gideon tied for 16th and junior Todd Angel tied for 21st.

Senior Matt Ryan and sophomore Bryan Hogan both shot four-over par.

Wichita State’s Dustin Garza took home the individual title with an overall score of 205.

Fresno State’s next match will be in San Diego at the San Diego State Sycuan Collegiate Invitational on Oct. 20 and Oct. 21.
