ASI executives resign
ASI President Mackee Mason and Executive Vice President Sandra Flores resigned from office Monday, Oct. 6. Letters from the executives were read at a special ASI meeting held Tuesday evening.

Pretty lame that they didn’t even bother to show up, but I guess thats to be expected. And didn’t violate any bylaws? Come on Mackee, you’re kidding no one but yourself!

how does one justify not violating any bylaws when he wrote the letter himself that said he consumed alcohol and there were underage drinkers in his presence, the substance free pledge was broken etc. are we all reading the same bylaws? go figure

Took them long enough. It seems to me that any person in a leadership position would recognize the mistake made and do the right thing by stepping down. Why stretch things out and make it more of a scandal than it already is. And the fact that someone lost their job over it, and now, yet again, Fresno State is involved in another lawsuit. Shame on them for letting it go this far. Is it too much to ask for responsible leaders?!

I remember Mackee “Everybody Drinks, so Why Hate the Greeks” Mason. Now I don’t need to worry about thinly veiled threats derived from misguided machismo.
