Thumbs up to the Fresno State football team for taking Saturday off and remaining the no. 21 team in the country.

Thumbs down to the burglar who broke into a home east of Fresno and proceeded to terrorize its sleeping occupants by rubbing one of them with spices and whacking the other in the face with a sausage before fleeing from the house, wearing only a T-shirt, boxers and socks. We don’t think our disapproval demands any explanation.

Thumbs up to Don Pepe’s, the taquería located across the street from Fresno State. There are few things finer, we believe, than de-stressing after a long day of work and school with a taco or two and a small styrofoam jug of horchata.

Thumbs down to public restrooms always being wet for no apparent reason except the one you don’t want to admit to yourself.
